"Wearable Winter Warmers" June 2nd , 3rd, 8th, 9th, 10th June 9am to 5pm. This exhibition highlights the wonderful talent we have in our region in textiles and fibres. One of a kind winter fashion garments and accessories will be on show and available for sale. Some of the items on offer are from eco-dyed fabrics, hand knitted, crotched, handspun wool and more. Official opening Saturday 2nd June at 2pm followed by afternoon tea and a fun, casual fashion parade. Proceeds from this event will go to the Westpac Rescue helicopter Service. Bring your family and friends to this fun event and support a valuable community service.

Kathy Young has a great range of crotcheted teapot cosies at the gallery now. This is her strawberries beauty. Visit the gallery 9am to 5pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week. Good news we raised $530 today for the Cancer Council's Biggest morning Tea. Thanks everyone who participated.

ECO DYING WORKSHOP by Raella Morrison What a great day we had with Raella learning about eco-dying. Everyone created 2 pieces of work from silk or wool. Thanks to Eather Maltby from ALL ABOUT FABRIC Tamworth for providing some beautiful fabrics for us to work with.

"TEXTURES OF AUSTRALIA" exhibition was a great success. The gallery was really buzzing ! Crowds everywhere enjoying the exhibtion, art and craft stalls, gallery displays plus the cafe. The winner for the weekend was the Tamworth Salvation Army, we raised $445 for them. A big thank you to Gloria Pullman and Sandra Craswell for exhibiting your work and to all our wonderful friends who helped in all areas when needed. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter. I would like to invite you to visit the Edelweiss Gallery if you are out and about this weekend.There will be a lot going on at the gallery. Firstly “Textures of Australia” exhibition by Gloria Pullman and drawings by Sandra Craswell begins on Saturday 9am and continues until Monday 5pm.Gloria and Sandra will be in attendance all weekend. A donation will be given to the Tamworth Salvation Army. Secondly there will be stalls by some of our suppliers. The Gumtree Craftroom - Chris Fensbo with soy candles, beanies, scarves, cards and mosaics. Dlorah Bears – Carmel Wiltshire with handmade teddy bears, country collection animals and the new zoo collection.Namoi Gold – Ruth Payne with her olive oil, olives, soaps and other olive products. Made by Yvonne – Yvonne with all her crafty creations. Katherine Cooper will be providing some homemade cakes, muffins and cookies (including some gluten free items) Easter Trading Hours 9am to 5pm Easter Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday The gallery cafe will be open too! This coming Friday night March 2nd sees the opening of this exhibition at 6pm. View the wonderful works of Annabel Hoskins (painter) and Louise Baker (potter). Nibbles and punch on arrival. Meals and coffee will be available from the gallery cafe. The exhibition will continue for the month of March during our normal trading hours. 9am to 5pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10% of all sales will be donated to the Tamworth Riding for the Disabled.
